Looking back to the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2020, we put out a call on the internet and gathered a dozen like-minded friends to organize our first "Mid-Autumn Goodie Bags" event. As newcomers, distributing hundreds of goodie bags to various locations was challenging. From seeking sponsorships to ordering, packaging, and delivering, we are grateful that with the help of all our supporters, we were able to complete the first event of the "Care Team Volunteers"!

After this, we realized that many people still need help. Was one act of kindness enough? As a result, we began regularly distributing goodie bags throughout Hong Kong's districts. We are glad to help, support and care for the underprivileged, widowed, elderly, single parents, children, homeless, cleaners, scavengers, ethnic minority and more.

 

We established the "Care Team Volunteers" in 2020. Due to waves of epidemics, many regular volunteer activities from different organizations have been postponed. However, we also know that many elderly, vulnerable and single-parent families are in increasingly difficult circumstances. The "Care Team Volunteers" was formed to support them. The more difficult the situation, the more we need to do for them. Even if we can't help everyone, everyone can help someone. This is what we have always strived to do.

Thank you to the public for your kindness in donating many supplies. We deeply appreciate the generosity of our volunteers. Some volunteers were infected while distributing goodie bags but did not complain. They immediately rejoined us after recovering. We could not be more grateful. One reason we have come this far is because of our dedicated volunteers.

We are grateful to everyone who has cared for, helped and supported us. We will continue to make our city a better place!
